I’m not usually a Tesla fan but after I shot this car, which also has a custom pleated red leather interior, I kinda want one. Thoughts?
The name of the company doing this customizing is T Sportline.

My thought is you shouldn’t have shot it. If a bullet punctures the battery, it’s lit fam.

The Model S has an Italian elegance to it. Frankly I think it looks fantastic.

Really not feeling the red logo, but otherwise that thing is gorgeous.

They do look nice. I think they are a little bland tho. With it kinda being the car of tomorrow, it didn’t have to be that restrained while still being speaking to the masses

They’re nice, but for some reason I feel like the interior lacks that special something for being a luxury car.
I’m not sure how to quantify it, but the S90's interior is just a place that I’d much rather be in.

I’ve found the Model S to be a one-trick pony—it provides face-flattening acceleration and little else.
Okay, its EV-ness is still somewhat novel. It looks pretty sharp and still somewhat unique. It’s spacious inside. But it doesn’t do luxury car or sporty car particularly well. It’s more like an incredibly fast and better-looking electric Toyota Avalon.

Does anyone else think the black and red color combo is extremely played out?

I dunno, but I’m test driving one Monday and will know better then.
I’m with aestheticsinmotion in the logo, but otherwise that looks awesome— the wheels are perfect.

Agree - I really like the new nose. And with quickest sedan on the planet performance numbers to back it up.

That’s because the S90 has maybe the most appealing interior I’ve ever seen.

Not worth their price when you put the technology aside

Definitely. Which is why guys are dropping 30k on custom leather interiors made from the same hides Ferrari and Bentley use.

Well yeah, since that Volvo interior is beautiful.
And also because IRL, the fit and finish of the Teslas aren’t too great. Panel gaps are big and seats get worn down pretty quickly. This is one of the few problems with Tesla and modern American luxury brands in general. They have made plenty of progress, but they haven’t nailed the luxury side of things. With just a little more focus on quality and materials, these could be fantastic.

Indeed, but even then the Tesla doesn’t seem to have the glamor of a Bimmer...
the attention to detail of a Lexus...
or the plushness of a Hyundai.
Spare and minimalistic is one thing, but unpleasantly bare is another. Something about it screams “Porta-potty” rather than “Ikea” in the design, not to mention the poor materials and build quality. Hell, Renault nailed the fuck out of minimalism a decade and a half ago, get your shit together Tesla!
